RANT Crysis 2 DX9

Saw this over at [H]ardOCP

Crysis 2 will be DX9 out of the box but will have DX11 in the future via patches. Where have I heard this before.

What a shame, just shows to who Crysis has catered too. Good luck, this game is now off my to get list. When the game is built and based off a console then its time to make other choices.

Now I see why it has only 16 players and all the other console bullshit all over the place and your HuD.

As cool as the MP beta was & I did like the impressive DX9 eyecandy after playing the MP beta I was left feeling wanting...wanting to play a better MP.

I may look for this title in the "Bargain Bin " in afew months if only to play thru the SP.

dont know if its true, probably people who played the leaked beta seen that only dx9 was working, in the cfg files was dx10 settings also, but they were not active, so lets wait till full release, but i must say crysis on dx9 looks awesome already, not 1 single game looks better on dx9.
