Default Rikochet/Rekoil - For REAL?

Gone......

As Tally so deftly pointed out.... When our guy Sam was on the team... out of respect for him and his integrity, we kept the coverage.

Now that Sam is (thankfully) no longer part of that bag of code thieves and shitheels, Ricochet is no longer a featured entity.

Sam, you made a wise move.

What's the story now?? They've changed their name to Rekoil? Why?

Could it be the reputation of a few "members" has caught up with them?

All the name changes in the world will neither cleanse nor change the fact they're code thieves.

I am wondering about this name change also. Why change the name. We have been bombarded with one name all this time then all of a sudden no new news is coming out and we find that the name has changed.

Why did they fold and are they under new management or what. Normally when there's a name change you are changing the brand and in most cases it ain't good.

Time will tell, we'll just have to wait and see what transpires.

No change in team. Every thing exactly the same, just a ludicrous change in name. They've spent 2 years "branding" their IP, and now they throw that branding away. 2 years of marketing down the drain. Good move! Not!

I still say this game will have absolutely nothing going for it. It is tired, old, and lacks any real direction from the so-called "management". It's more like a bad mod project than an Indie game developer. All fluff and no substance.

Watch this video:

Now, tell me if that doesn't look as average as it gets. Floating enemy avatar movement, and crazy-assed muzzle flash on every weapon. Jesus! Is this really all they have to show after 2 years of development?

It pure garbage...... Great language.... I guess that's the only way they can attract testosterone overdosed pimple squeezers.

If Valve sees that in release, there will be one helluva lawsuit.

Its a Half-Life knock off. Watch the background action carefully. The only thing missing is the crowbar.

Code Thieves are code-thieves no matter the name they hide behind.

Well I watched the first part almost and stopped. I dont mind the ball grabbing and all but the F, MF and A bombs were just too much.

I hope that this wasnt some form/kind of a publicity stunt. Totaly unprofessional. This is not how you want to bring forth a new brand and possible IPO later down the road.

Besides the two losers that are playing this, who ever came up with the muzzle flash concept from the late 80"s is a loser too.

Move on people, nothing to see here.

John Sonedecker is/was the Founder and Creative Director of BlackFoot Studios who failed to gain enough support to continue development.

Sonedecker is now "with" Rekoil...
