Default May 2012 Local Elections

If you live in Britain which party are you voting and why?

If you live outside of Britain who would you vote for and why?

I will be voting UKIP, back in 2010 I had all my friends and family vote Lib Dem because Nick Clegg was really talking sense but then he decided that he didn't care about Britain, he just wanted a nice warm house and the deputy prime minister title.

He hasn't stuck to any of the promises he made and neither has David Cameron! This immediately rules out the lying Tory and LibDems. Then I turn my attention to Labour and see that Millipede has been voted in, then I see he thinks Brussels should have more power and he says that we should join the euro. Complete joke of a man, Millipede will drive the Labour party into the floor.

This left two non-**** choices, the Greens or UKIP. The Greens are simply eco-mentalists who would spend all our money on wind turbines rather than fixing the deficit. Wind Turbines themself are bad enough even if we have a surplus. UKIP say no to Wind Turbines due to the excessive cost and the fact they only work 20% of the time and are only 15% efficient. If we really wanted to save everything we would be as efficient as possible to slow down Heat Death! UKIP would plan to make atleast 50% of British Energy Nuclear by the end of a 5year term, they would decrease the Public sector and increase Private sector jobs which is really what we need now that the Public Sector is over 1million jobs TOO BIG while the Private sector is 2million jobs too small!

The main thing though is that the Greens want the Euro, they want the EU to be strong and Brussels to rule everything.

UKIP want the immediate withdrawl of Britain from the EU and want to reduce our relationship to a simple trade deal. We would get our fishing waters back, our economy back, our simple taxing system back and our damn independence back.

UKIP is the only reasonable choice left and even if the Torys didn't lie and Millipede wasn't the leader of Labour I would still vote UKIP because their policies and the charisma of their leader is simply better.

i live in UK but wont be voting.

fed up with all politicians, with all parties.

the whole system is corrupt - and getting worse.
there is no real democracy anymore - not sure if there ever was.

totally dis-illusioned with the whole voting/governement thing.

Well without voting nothing will change, the people that don't vote are the only ones to blame for the current system. There has been too much domination from the Torys and Labour. The two partys are both corrupt and pathetic. David Cameron is a rich kid from Eton who is putting all his old school mates in power e.g George Osborne, Boris Johnson. Millipede is an idiot and is driving the Labour into the floor.

UKIP are very strong believers in democracy and freedom of the people. Nigel Farage is Chairman of the European Freedom and Democracy group and believes that the people of Britain should not have so many ridiculous rules and regulations. He also believes in a Proportional Representation system so there will be no wasted votes. If your party gets 40% of the national votes you get 40% of the national MPs! Much fairer system but the Torys and Labour won't have it because then they will lose all their power.

If people want change they need to vote for parties other than the old trio. The LibDems, Labour and Torys have failed the British people, Labour in 2005 to 2010 then Torys and LibDems 2010 to present. David Cameron and Nick Clegg tell a lie every other word.

The parties left are UKIP, Greens and BNP. I don't vote for BNP because of Nick Griffin being a massive **** and racist along with a liar. I don't vote for the Greens because they think that the EU needs more power, Britain needs the Euro and that we caused global warming.

Have to disagree with you there.
Ther main parties all went to the same school together - most of them in the same class. They are all holding power - a clique of powerfull familes.
Its always been this way.

You have one vote - and then the party you put into power doesnt do what it said it would. hows that democratic.
This has always been the way.

The goverment decides to declare war on someone - did you vote for that?
NO. infact every thing the governement does you didnt vote for.
You only have one vote - hows that democratic
There is no democracy - just this pointless system of having one vote - like it counts.

No i dont agree with the whole system - people in Lybia didnt vote out the dictator - so voting is not the only way.

I wont be guilted into voting - i wont take part in a corrupt system.

there are other ways and methods.
why should i vote when my voice and opinion is not listened to (even after voting).
the voter turn out is already low - much lower than it should be.
good luck with changing a corrupt system by working the system - i dont think it can be done.
peace

If you think all the main parties are corrupt then vote for a fringe party. The fringe parties with great ideas don't need to win an election, they just need a decent proportion of the votes that will show the main parties that they need to change their policies to more popular ones or these fringe parties will grow large like UKIP have.

UKIP's goal has never been to get into power, it has always been to get Britain out of the EU and get the main parties to change their policies that only benefit themselves to ones benefiting the people. The main parties didn't bend and now UKIP are the 3rd largest party while still gaining support fast.

The big parties have to listen to the opinions of the voters that vote the other parties because they won't stay as the big parties for long if they don't change their ways. Voting for a fringe party will make the bigger parties more aware of what the people actually want.

What you were saying about going to war ect is something I agree with. Britain needs to have referendums on these big choices instead of the Prime Minister just deciding what to do on his own. This is actually one of the UKIP policies, major decisions such as war, trade union, political union ect will all be put to referendum.

About Libya, that has no relevance at all because it was a western funded revolution and only happened due to the greed of the same politicians you hate.

2015 I predict Nigel Farage as deputy Prime Minister in a Con/UKIP government. Then we will see some change on the EU and on Democracy. Maybe we will be able to get a Proportional Representation system instead of a first across the line system.

Yeah PR would be a big step in the right direction.
More referendums would also be good.

Well UKIP want to introduce both these changes, a UKIP vote isn't a wasted vote now that they are the 3rd largest party. Even if they don't get the seat it shows the others that people don't want their crap anymore and want more of what UKIP is giving. Democracy and freedom from the EU!

If you want to see PR and more Referendums I suggest voting UKIP tomorrow. If you believe the EU should have more power and Britain needs the Euro vote Green. Both UKIP and Greens want more referendums and PR. Their main difference in policy starts at Energy and Economy. Greens want the EU to have more power and think we need wind turbines everywhere. UKIP believe the opposite.

So again.. vote UKIP or Green if you want Britain to change for the better!

I can only hope I wake up tomorrow morning to a good UKIP result. I hope to god Red Ken doesn't get in as London mayor.

It will be funny to see Millipede try and squirm his way out of that failure!
