EA Announces Medal of Honor: Warfighter

From the unnecessary subtitle department.
Speaking of military shooters, EA's announced the existence of the next Medal of Honor game. No surprises here, since the first game in the rebooted franchise reportedly sold pretty well in 2010 despite tepid reviews. According to OXM
(via Game Informer
, via IGN
), it's subtitled Warfighter -- presumably because you fight wars in it -- and developed by the same crew at EA's Danger Close
studio that built the single-player campaign in the first one.
There's no word on whether DICE will be directly involved this time (the Battlefield 3 developer created the multiplayer portion of Medal of Honor), but it's definitely contributing the fancy Frostbite 2.0 engine to the project.
Hopefully this one will be more of a cohesive game than the last, which used two different game engines and didn't really have a sense of identity. Are you interested in another Medal of Honor, or are your modern military shooter needs filled by BF3 and/or Call of Duty?
