Long story short I just got permanently banned for killing their admin "BROTHER-EVIL" and calling them out on their exploiting tactics.
I first discovered [JR] Monty UK using a glitch to snipe through the wall facing south on the central island, on their JR Island map. He was not visible from the front, and could not be shot back at. I did however see his muzzle flash through the wall, so I advanced up and shot him from the side after he had picked off two people on my team that had no clue where he was shooting from. I called him out on it, and got no reply. (I'm certain several JR players saw that.)
This is when I started to suspect a series of very suspect kills on other maps I had just shrugged off since I had good faith in the JR guys.
Moving on to recent events:
On the map Celles, there's a cap called Hill 102. The main house in that cap has a cellar. In this cellar there's a box with no collision that you can go through if you're crawling. If you're looking just the right way you will find a staircase leading down to an extra cellar with Satchel Charges, Fausts and satchels with MG42 and G43 Sniper.
While inside this cellar you can see players from below by shadows showing up in the ceiling. On top of this, you can see perfectly from inside the box on top of the stairs, but you can't be seen from the outside.
Most players don't know this (I know I didn't for months until I caught a JR guy in the act) meaning they can come out of the cellar and stab people in the back even if they're watching everywhere and has cleared the cellar. I confronted them about this and they called it "good map design".
So, today me and my friend I usually play with decided to simply camp them from the top floor. If they're gonna stay in their cellar and hold on to that cap by not playing fair, we were going to keep them down there the whole match. Eventually BROTHER-EVIL got bored and tried to break out. He missed with his pistol, shot me once in the arm, and I sprayed him down with my MG34.
He typed "bs" in chat which we didn't get on the screenshots, but the rest is what followed. SeismicAssault has left the battlefield was me getting permanently banned.
He confirms that he considers it a cheap tactic by blaming the original map creators, and that exploiting this is hence OK for some reason. This is a JR version of that map AFAIK, so they could have removed this if they wanted. Seeing as I've gotten killed cluelessly in that house before though, I think I know why they haven't removed it.
As this was the only tank server with population, this marks the end for me playing Darkest Hour (which I've done exclusively on their server for 333 hours). Thanks to SONOVAN, one of the few who actually put up a solid opposition in a tank, and Txendo for his stellar performance on foot
