Still a lot more to do and it feels neverending. I remember when Burning Sands as it was called started a good 2 years ago in these forums with Dirty Rat and Dicky Bird.

A lot has happened since then as well as the obvious name change to Mare Nostrum as we joined forces with the Campagna Italiana MOD. We've also seen a lot of team members come and go. A lot of the material we had never made it in game or wasn't of high enough standard as we improved over the first year and reassessed what we had.

So it comes to the first release which is of course the Beta. A lot more needs doing but we felt we had to release something as we've been going for such a long time and hopefully it'll give everyone renewed engery into finishing off a lot of the content.

We do of course value all feedback negative or positive so we can make each of the next releases that little bit better.

:Outstanding!:

It looks good so far... but the language!! Sad...

Also, are there any maps yet with Tank warfare?? Africa is/was NOTED for its epic Tank Battles

 Rommel = Tanks

Sorry I missed this. I agree it's a real shame that there weren't any tank maps or any new vehicles. It's probably damaged MNs future in a competitive market. Three MODs all battling it out for the few players that are left.

Hopefully the team will be able to get some of TMans work in game real soon. He made some great stuff for MN. :wink1:
