I recently join a clan again, where I won't be playing in matches myself

I actually became amused

They are breaking EU laws by forcing people to use their one and not been able to choose a competitor

If they choose to ignore

Would help if you filled out the background to that post. "What" are they forcing people to do?

You can only now stream your server to GameViolations instead of being able to choose which service to stream to. I personally don't mind as I've never had any problems with GameViolations.

This could get into a really long debate

I suppose for some ppl u could simplify it (streaming servers is great in same order as well)

80 k bans punksbusted.com
50k k bans pbbans
25-30k bans game violations

I have integretry concerns with certian clans and game violations,
but thats a personal thing

Its not legal what they are doing period as there are valid alternatives

I'm sure they are not the only league, but you have to start with one.

Already started a process off anyway

though it can take 6months to 3 years with these things lol

I would always prefer to see one single repository that is run by EvenBalance rather than a number of 3rd parties with their internal politics. Some decisions make you question people's motives.

As for GameViolations I don't mind using it as within COD4 it seems to be doing a good job. I'm guessing the large downtime by Punksbusted has had an effect on their ban lists.

If its a free service, it cannot breach monopoly laws, as they are commerical-related laws.

Since none of these streaming services charge, and ClanBase also does not charge, you cannot invoke anti-monopoly laws on them.
