http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/images/icons/icon1.gif RELEASE - StuG III Ausf G - Beta 1

Shurek and I are proud to present the latest addition to the Red Orchestra arsenal, the Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G.

The StuG III Ausf G. was the most produced German armored fighting vehicle during World War II. The Ausf G was the final variant of the StuG III series of assault guns and became one of the most successful tank destroyers to see combat; by 1944 StuG IIIs were responsible for over 20,000 Soviet tanks destroyed. Entering production in December 1942, over 7,800 Ausf G variants were produced until the end of the war, making it the most numerous StuG variant on the battlefield.

What is included in Beta 1 release:

Stug III Ausf G (Early Production) with ‘Schurzen’ side armor skirts and Summer camo skin
Revised version of Ogledow map, replacing the StuG III F/8 and several PzIVs with the Stug III Ausf G.
Notable features:

Working commander cupola
Known issues:

MG/Loader position is still not available, will most likely be implemented in Beta 2
Component of the turret exterior is missing, the section which is attached to the body
Slight clipping occurs with the turret in the driver’s interior when it is rotated to the extreme left.
We appreciate all feedback relating to this vehicle. http://www.redorchestragame.com/forum/images/smilies/smile.gif There are several more features we hope to implement in future releases, including more skin types and variants. We also hope that the addition of this new vehicle will bring some added excitement to the RO community, and that it will be featured in many new maps, as well as modified existing ones.
