Berezina Beta3

Well Done.... Played three rounds this AM on the RGN Server and must say Berezina Beta3 plays well. Beta3 Looks good and is much better behaved when it comes to FPS.

I like the changes.... I know now that when the Germans kick butt.... its rightfully earned and the Russians have zero room to squawk, cry, moan or complain. Same goes for a victory by the Russians.

Berezina beta3 is in the rotation.

But...... Have no fear, I've asked Slyk to, "Please reconsider the mine fields throughout the map. East of the river is fine.... but the other mine fileds are far too restrictive and seem to "channel" the map and gameplay too much. B2 was a joy because we, both sides, had wide ranging movement all over the map. That's now gone. Please????"

Its like playing on a rail now until all but the last objective is capped by the Germans. I don't mind getting out of the tank to cap the lines, however with infantry in the map, they can cap while I'm in the tank protecting them. Its those awful mid-map minefields that are horrid.

At least to me they are.

Well, it seems SLYK said he may have slipped on some of those. Today as a Russian, while reinforcing the crossroads while the Russians still had it, my BT-7 hit a 'spawn minefield' and blewup, so something isn't set quite right.

I Don't mind in certain cap zones if it is infantry only for the cap. RO being a team game, you would hope there would be some German infantry right there or nearby the panzers. Supposedly only three zones are like that.

in B1 and B2, only the Village CP cap zone was infantry only. Now, there are three! IMO, you will see far less German victories on the map now.

but, only time will tell...... :rolleyes:
