Sunday, October 31, 1943 Chaplinka airfield, after a long night of bombing and the constant pounding of artillery, the Soviets try to capture the the German airfield in Chaplinka. Due to the failing communication on Russian side, the mortars are still firing at the airfield when the infantry swarms the swamp lying alongside the massive runways to capture the airfield, and thereby cutting of the air supply's to the German soldiers in the Crimea.
