A small early war combined arms map set in eastern Latvia. The Russian side has superior defensive positions as well as anti-tank guns trained on the maps main road. The first two objectives should fall quite easily while the main fight will be for the final trench objective. The German side has an advantage in artillery and manpower in this map but limited time.

I want to use the Satchel pickup mutator for this map but couldn't find it so if someone can post me a d/l link for it that would be great.

A late war infantry map set in Bialystok, a city in northern Poland. In this map the Russians are on the offensive with four objectives to capture in a short amount of time.

This map was my first crack at using the editor and I plan to completely redo all the architecture after I see what if any game play changes need to be made.

I agree..

Both maps look very good. I foresee a number interesting battles on both.

However on Vidzeme, I found that the spawn time of the tanks (both sides) was far too long. Also I found no Panzerfausts. I did find the Arty call points and see the Russians have the M1939 cannon emplacements that work. One tank for each side seems a bit "lean". At least a half track for the Germans would add to the balance of the map. I can just see 20-50 players in this puppy... utter bedlam and great discontent over the available vehicles and LONG respawn times.

Bialystok is going to be a superb close combat map.

Perhaps, more vehicles, classes and consideration of accommodating the numbers of players that will be playing on both these maps should be seriously reconsidered.

Very, very true!! But since there is only TWO tanks.. odds are a tanker is going to wind up on foot. :wink2:
